Make your garden and home produce safer to consume with organic pesticides.

Organic Pesticides is one of the safest and easiest ways to get rid of home garden pests.

Aside from it being a more affordable, it can even be made at home.

Purposefully Simple shared a recipe of Homemade Garlic Pepper Spray which can be used on garden pests.

“When the goop has sat for long enough strain it so that you only have the juice left. I used a piece of cotton fabric to squeeze the juice out of the goop and a funnel to get the juice in the spray bottle. I also covered my hands in plastic sandwich bags because I didn’t have any gloves. It worked but I definitely recommend gloves if you can get ’em and I definitely DON’T recommend using your bare hands.”

Homemade and Organic

Homesteading Freedom also shared four recipes that households may choose from. Ace1 Pest Control

“Homemade natural organic pest control is less expensive than buying and applying pesticides, and it’s safer for your garden, your family, the natural wildlife and the environment. With homemade remedies you know what is going into your garden. Many homemade sprays are used with good results controlling harmful insects. Long before the invention of harmful chemical pesticides (yes, the kind that is linked to cancerous cellular activity), farmers and Homesteaders came up with multiple remedies for removing insect infestations from their garden plants.”

Affordable and Effective

DIY Gardening and Better Living also posted homemade organic pesticide recipes.

“Spider mites, aphids and other pests can cause considerable damage to flowers and food plants (that is fruits and vegetables). These creatures attack your garden in swarms, literally draining the life from your crops and often inviting disease in the process. Many chemical pesticides can prove unsafe for the environment or may make crops unsafe for consumption, however. Thankfully, there are many homemade, organic options for you to turn to in your “war” on pests.”
